Friday Fashion Statement...

This week in fashion - swimming attire!

Mom featured my new "toweled hoodie" on her blog this week. Here I am actually wearing it with my swim suit.

My swim suit is a Carter's swim set purchased for $8.99 at Costco (for the set). My shoes are by OshKosh purchased at the outlet mall for $14 - they are completely water proof.

No swimming session is complete without taking a snack break with my buddy Joseph (on the left) - fruit strips and applesauce squeezes - our favorite!

And that is this week in fashion!!!

My Girlfriend...

(I had two sets of great-grand parents with arranged marriages - so it would not be unheard of in our family!)

Her mom and my dad went to kindergarten together! Match made in heaven. I already love her!

T Rex 18 Month Well Check and Stats...

Today I had my 18 month check up. It was awesome - no shots!

Here I'm waiting (under the exam table) to see Dr. I was a little serious at first but immediately warmed up to her and toward the end we were playing under the exam table together!

(Mom is confused why both metric and non-metric units are used - it's all gibberish to me!)

Overall report: Perfectly Healthy!!!

As a special treat following the appointment the three of us went to lunch and I played near the fountain.

After Bath Time Entertainment

A new game I've discovered to keep me busy while Mom and Dad pick up after bath time.

(Mom said it was quite challenging getting non-revealing photos!)

We've been slacking off on our fashion statements so I'm designating Friday Fashion Day!

This week in T Rex Toddler Fashion:

Pooh Bear Outfit

Mom made the pants from light-weight cotton - perfect for warmer weather and to protect my knees from getting skinned on my new jungle gym.

Pooh Bear Body Suit - from Costco, a two-pack - $8. (The other one is Tigger!)

Black leather sandles - made in Italy and sized in cm - purchased at a used children's clothing store - $3.

And there's this week in fashion!

I Can Do It Myself...

I no longer will allow Mom and Dad to feed me - I insist on doing it all by myself.

Goodness, Mom was at it again, doing the "good job" dance. We know what that means, either I did GP or I won another award.

Mom and Dad found it on Craigslist after several weeks of searching. Apparently, they got quite a deal.

Good deal or not, I sure had a great time!

My First Award...

At first I thought Mom was doing the "potty success dance" but then I realized I did something else good. She said I won an award from Ms. Nina at Juggling Mama. I'm not sure what it means but if it merited the success dance it must be good!

This week in fashion... (Monday, May 4, 2009)

This week's fashion statement is mostly about my new shoes. They're still a little big but I love going to my closet, getting them out, and putting them on.

There are T Rexes on them! They are slip on so I can put them on myself. Mom found these for $8 at Babies 'R Us.


Shirt is Circo from Target $5 and the jeans are also from Babies 'R Us - $5.


This is me singing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" with Mom - this is my spider.

I'm off to sing more songs...

Zoo Visit

A new set of hyenas just arrived at the zoo.

They were not nearly as exciting as the giraffe slide and penguin statues!

Mom said it was a little scary (it's pretty high up there) - I thought it was fun!


We must have gone down nearly a dozen times.


The penguins were nesting but the statues were very fun!
