Laundry Day...

And you know what that means???

Time to build a fort from the baskets and towels!

And sabotage Mom's folding efforts!!!

Big Kid Bed...

Yes, I've "jumped the crib" - not to be confused with "jumping the couch"!

Mom and Dad moved the crib out and found me this cool set up on Craigslist.

Looks like I'm settling right in!

There is still some decorating to do but at least the neck-breaking safety hazard has been resolved!

Good night...

Happy Father's Day

Why I love my dad...
- He plays chase and hide and seek with me

- He gets up with me when I wake at night

- His toleration of my toddlerness (i.e. climbing, throwing food, etc.)

- He caters to my ever changing dietary requests

- He lets me wear his shoes

- He welcomes my slobbery kisses

- He used to change all my #2 diapers (now I only do #2 in the toilet)

- He's been to all my well child doctor visits

A few others that Mom helped me with...

- He works hard every week to provide for Mom and me

- He is 100% reliable

- He loves us unconditionally
He's my Dad!

It really is the little things in life that make all the difference.

Happy Father's Day!

Hungry Dino...

Yes, I'm one hungry dino...

Asking for "more" or in this case, just food.

Dad kept me entertained...

Flexing my muscles for Dad.

Yeah, the food is on its way!!!

But more importantly, I am just happily waiting while Mom prepares my meal.

Whew...hunger meltdown averted!

T Rex Tears

You always see me happy and smiley. And for the most part that defines me. However, like all toddlers, I do have my tearful moments. This is what they look like...

I believe this melt down was because Mom was taking too long getting my snack. And I probably did not have a long enough nap either.

Don't worry - it only lasted about 30 seconds and I was fine. But 30 seconds in toddler time is like 2 hours in grown-up time.

Filling Dad's Shoes

I'm really interested in Dad's shoes. I've been dragging them out of the closet but more recently I've been enjoying wearing them.

(Note: these are two different shoes)

Those are some big shoes to fill!!!

Friday Fashion Statement...(a day late)

Bare feet...

Lately I've been taking my socks off - it is summer after all and that means bare feet weather!

My apologies Friday Fashion Statement is a day late - Mom and I hosted a birthday party yesterday and we were busy, busy!

A Tale of Two Grins

I have two different smiles...

The "regular" one:

And the "cheesy" one:

What kind of smile are wearing today???

Jungle Gyms and Happy Meals

This past weekend, Mom and Dad decided it was time to introduce me to French fries. They said the place to go for fries is McDonald's. Thus, I got my very first happy meal! I ate every last French fry!

We ate at the park (actually the park at Dad's work) and then I played and played on the jungle gym! What an outing!

I slept so soundly after all that food and fun!

Amazing Toy Find!!!

This past week Mom and I took a trip to the DI thrift store. We both found some amazing things. This very sturdy car garage was $1.50. Dad cleaned it up and Mom purchased some Hot Wheels for $.97 at Wal-Mart.

I've been having so much fun - even putting down my spheres to play with it - that's definitely saying something!

Here's a short video of me working the garage...

Friday Fashion Statement...

Face photos...

FYI - Mom and Dad have dark eyes - so it is really bizaare that my eyes turned out so light.

Trouble Shooting...

I've figured out how to turn on the light to the computer work area...

And I can change the ring tone on the phone - Mom and Dad still do not know how to change it back!

Just doing my job - exploring EVERYTHING!!!

Party Preparations...

My friend across the street turned one this weekend. She invited me to her party. This is me getting ready...

And here I am walking over to her house "carrying" her gift (the backpack).

Happy Birthday, M!
