Morning Time with Mom - in Photos

After Dad left yesterday morning, this is what we did...

Let's play!!!

Let's play ball - of course!!!

Playing with Mom always puts a smile on my face.

Let's go for a walk - after I crawl through the tunnel one last time!

In my tunnel waiting for Mom to put her shoes on.

The walk to the clubhouse was not as exciting as I expected it to be.

Or maybe I was tired from our morning of fun!

Wishing you fun mornings too!

Outside Playtime

Yesterday before the storm almost made its way here, I went out and played - of course, with my favorite things - spheres!

A short video of me playing "soccer" with the yellow ball - did I mention I can dribble any ball where I want?!?

Wishing you all your own happy spring days!

Where Am I - Can You Spot Me?

Look closely - do you see me?

Playing in the front yard with Mom and Dad.

Peek-a-boo!!

Here I Am!!!

Time for Our Morning Walk...

Now which ball should I take? Maybe all of them!!! It's great fun to throw them in the street and watch Mom scramble after them - these are all super bouncy!

We're off for our ritual late morning walk.

Outside Playtime

I'm so glad it's spring!

I just love being outside.

Everyday I look forward to going out and melt down when I have to come in.

Here are a group of photos from outside playtime this week...

Mom always insists I wear a hat - not my favorite thing. This hat is an Old Navy one she found at the thrift store for $1.

Standing at the back door. Mom also found my T shirt at the used clothing store (although it still had new tags on it - $3) and Nan made my rocket pants.

I always take my soccer ball outside with me.

I am fascinated by the doggie door. Usually when I'm inside I will toss my spheres out the door and make mom retrieve them - fun game - until the door gets closed!

We have a basin rock that gets filled with water everyday so the birds have a place to bathe and drink. I LOVE playing in the water there.

Wishing you all happy spring days...

This Week in Fashion...

(And having fun with the little white dogs.)

A simple outfit accessorized with a couple extra spheres...

Mom made the pants and my shirt is an organic cotton T-shirt by Rabbit Skins ($5 from Jiffy shirts). Shoes are Robeez Tredz ($15 new from eBay).

After all, I must have stylish comfort even when playing with the pups! (At least according to Mom)

Playing fetch with Anya and Sonador.

They have cool toys - look at the "spheres" on this bone!

Fun, fun, fun!!!

T Rex's T Rex Shirt

Mom always tries to find T Rex shirts for me to wear. Of course, they have to be reasonably priced and this one was (Baby Gap $7).

It is now my favorite T Rex shirt because it is the most realistic looking.

What do you think? Any resemblance to the T Rex on my shirt?

Mom and Dad say I resemble this particular T Rex's mischievous smile.

Roar!!!!

Wheelbarrow Fun with Dad

Dad spent hours this past weekend carrying wheelbarrow loads of rock.

I watched in wonder since right now I want to do everything he does and be just like him!

This weekend he took me on a ride in my wheelbarrow...

Thanks for the fun time, Dad.

Fortune...

Grandma and Grandpa took us out to celebrate Mom's acceptance to nurse practitioner school. We had a great time and I discovered Lo Mein - yummy!

After dinner I gladly passed up eating my fortune cookie but Dad read me my fortune...

"Time is nature's way of keeping everything from happening all at once."

Very appropriate for a young person such as me, don't you think?

Here's a photo of me playing with Grandpa after dinner was over.

Congratulations, Mom! We're so proud of you!

It's Nan Time!!!

Nan is coming to hang out for a couple days with me.

Mom and Dad have a "Soviet" holiday planned and need someone to keep me busy while they work non-stop on the house and yard.

Here's a preview of how happy I was to see her today...

Kisses...

And more kisses!!!

Spin the Sea Turtle

My super cool neighbors gave this gift to me for Christmas. I've been enjoying it ever since then. Recently I discovered a new way of playing with it.

Mom calls it "Spin the Sea Turtle".

I call it FUN!!!

The video is much more illustrative of my new game.

Thanks again, Neighbors D and M!

Easter Weekend...

Whew - the weekend was fun!!!

I was a busy guy - there are lots of photos to share. Take a look...

Easter egg hunt at home with my playgroup friends. Check out Mom's blog for more details.

Getting some help from Dad during the Friday night playgroup hunt.

Saturday morning brunch with the family to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. He offered to share his dessert but I declined.

I did, however, partake in a lollipop but lost interest after mom had to give me a new one because mine was becoming a choking hazard. I was more interested in the stick it was attached to than the candy itself.

Lunch outside because it was such a beautiful spring day!

Helping Dad with some yard work - I like to pretend my push cart is a lawn mower.

Check out what the Easter bunny brought! A wheelbarrow full of puffs and yogurt drops as well as a panda. I LOVE pandas!

Easter morning hunting eggs in the tunnel.

Hunting eggs outside - yes, I had my hair buzzed off. It's a tad bit short but Mom and Dad say in a week or so it will be perfect - they prefer to do haircuts less often and I agree!

I had to go outside one last time Sunday evening - it was just the perfect spring day!

Happy Easter!

Soda Tower

While Mom was busy working in the kitchen, I worked on a project of my own.

(Actually the last photo was the first one taken - Mom turned around and I had already built the tower. She tried to get me to rebuild it but I was distracted by the rolling on the cans. If you'd like to see more there is a video below.)
