Spanish Lesson

Snapshot from my morning Spanish lesson... Mom has been working with me for a little while now and nearly every morning we have a lesson. It's a fun time for both of us. I'm developing quite the vocabulary - close to 100 Spanish words.

And during the day I will randomly state "Daddy trabajando" which means Daddy working. We're getting there.

We've also been reading some Spanish books. Mom discusses those here.

Idaho Tour of Jungle Gyms...

During a recent family vacation to north Idaho, we made several jungle gym stops. Here are some highlights from a few of our stops...

Cottonwood, Idaho - even Dad had never been there. Tiny town but really nice park! Good thing, I was desperate for a potty break and some serious leg stretching.

Moscow, Idaho - Dad's college Alma Mater and possibly some day mine, too!

Troy, Idaho - Grandma N's hometown - another tiny town but another great climbing structure.

Jungle gym stops were a great way to break up a very long car trip. Plus, it was just nice to get outside and play and run, run and play.
