New Toy Find...

Mom found this wooden train set for $4 at the thrift store today. I spent most of my afternoon playing "choo choo" with Nan while Mom studied.

Dad makes the world's best brownies - or so I am told. I don't like chocolate. But I do like "baking" in the kitchen with him. On my menu: croissant, chicken leg, and broccoli.

Cleaning Day

Recently, our house has been host to a couple of large gatherings. Mom and Dad always work way too hard to clean the house ahead of time (I'm not sure why - it's always a mess afterward - why not wait until the gatherings are done and then clean?).

Regardless, I like to get in on the cleaning action, too.

Since Mom is off school for few weeks, we have our afternoons back together doing nothing but playing!

Today we did some art. Mom and I are both working on homemade gifts for the year. She makes the gifts and I make the cards...
