Another Outfit of my Choosing...

This past week, Mom and Dad had me all dressed up in a Christmas outfit but I discovered this shirt when Mom was cleaning out my closet (she said something about being in nesting mode).

I insisted on wearing it all day and it's been a staple to my clothing attire since.

Two of my favorite characters - Elmo and "Cookie" - we were a bit concerned that "Cookie" is eating a banana and not a cookie!

My two friends who go EVERYWHERE with me - can you see why I love my shirt so?

Christmas Morning...

Despite me being a not-so-great sleeper this year (Mom and Dad say that's an understatement), I must have been a good enough kid to merit a visit from Santa. Maybe being potty trained evens things out?

You might recall that I originally asked Santa for "a balloon" - Aunt JT brought one to me last night. I thought she was Santa! However, this morning I found another one by the tree!

Friday Fashion...D-I-N-O

You would think with my nickname "T Rex" that I would really be into dinosaurs. Well, it hasn't been until recently that I've become quite enamored with dinosaurs. Combine that with letters and a perfect match in my opinion!

Hence, my fashion statement for this week.

Also note, my shoes are dinosaurs as well!

Santa Photo 2009...

This year's Santa photo...

Mom and Dad were quite surprised that I did not cry at the sight of a strange man who put his arm around me, but I did great.

In fact, when he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I replied, "A balloon." He asked if that was all I wanted (as the kids before me were on their second visit to ask for yet more toys) but I replied again, "A balloon". I guess I have my heart set on a balloon this Christmas!

The photo is not too bad for an impromptu visit to see Santa. Maybe that's why it went so well!

I have a pack of friends I carry around everywhere. Here I am feeding them some milk in my booster chair...

Two Year Well Check...

This past week I went in for my 2 year old check up. I didn't need any immunizations (thankfully, as I've had 3 flu shots in the last 5 weeks). However, I REALLY did not like being examined!

Here I am waiting to see Dr. S:

Weight: 28.2 lbs (50 percentile)
Height: 34 3/4 inches long (55 percentile)
Projected final height between 5'9" and 5'10" - just like Dad!

What I'm Doing...
Know all my ABC's and most of their sounds, too
Can count to 10
Identify colors
Identify shapes
100% toilet trained during the day (still not quite 100% at night)

Favorites...
Foods: pizza, pasta, cheese puffs, freeze dried strawberries, yogurt melts
Beverage: water, exclusively
Books: "Goodnight, Moon," "Hungry Caterpillar"
Songs: "ABC Song," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"
Activities: Wrestling with Dad, Working with my letters, Collecting spheres, feeding my "animals", DUCKS!
Character: ELMO!!! (Mom says I have a small obsession)

Miscellaneous...
I still take one nap a day - usually 90 minutes but up to 2 hours.
Bedtime: Between 7:30 and 8:00 pm
Asthma: no wheezing in several months and no longer using nebulizer

I got an "excellent" on my growth and development from the pediatrician. Guess I'll just keep up the good work, right?
